Detailed description

Exclusively made from grapes of Bobal variety which come from vineyards placed at the area of the 'Medio Día' where the scarce organic content of the earth and the important number of insolation hours give place to a low production per vine but premium quality. Ripened in French oak up to obtain an intense cherry red colour strengthened by a red fruits aroma.

Cepas Viejas is a wine that well preserved will evolve notably in the coming years.

Making and Ageing

Exclusively made from old selected grapes from old vines with a low production. This wine shows the quality potential of the Bobal, a native grape from Utiel-Requena.

Stalking and soft crushing of the grape followed by a long maceration under controlled temperature and by means of an exclusive system of powerful rebounded. Malolactic fermentation. Ageing in new American and French "Allier" oak barrels during eight months.

Tasting

	At sight the wine is shown as a red one with an intense cherry red colour and light rim of tile.
	In nose it offers complex and deep aromas, recalling forest fruits over a balsamic background of toffee and vanilla.
	In mouth is fresh, dense and fleshy with round tannins and a very long and aromatic aftertaste.
	Murviedro Cepas Viejas Bobal is the ideal red wine to accompany meat, bush meat and sausages. It is recommended decanting it one hour before service at least.
