Detailed description

Appearance

Clean, with high tonality and an intense cherry red colour.  

Smell

Very balanced, containing wild red fruits, blackberry, with hints of brushwood, mixed with hints of honey and spices from its time in French and American oak for nine months.

Taste

Complex, pleasant and velvety initial impression, overlapped to perfection with hints of sweet tannin together with honey and liquorice tones which create a welcome and pleasant final taste in the mouth.  

Aftertaste

Long and intense, with persistent flavours of the ripe fruit and sweet tannins of the oak.
