Tasting
High layer still red wine and an almost impenetrable deep cherry colour that only in the thin meniscus turns to cherry notes with brilliant violet nuances. |
First nose between fruity and woody, good strength and concentration of complex aromas. When oxygenation is started in a glass it becomas more fruity and sweety, confited touches of ripe red plum, black cherries and black fruits, everything finely mixed with balsamic and roasting touches of a perfect ageing in aromatic oak of different origins. One more vintage, this is a wine with a clear, powerful and direct varietal Bobal identity. Young nose and in full development.

The wine is presented completely dry, with a fresh variety and a medium-high intensity, very interwoven with its strong body and alcoholic richness; a firm tannin but mature, almost velvet that united to its pronounced intensity in mouth marks with vanilla, cedar, some of clove and a final flavour of fresh hay. Long aftertaste and elegant where the wine marks its longlife possibility with the freshness that previously was announced with its acidity and tannin. |
Although it can be drunk with the right well-aired dose that stops its tannic strength, it will win as previous vintages did (2009-2007...) which in this moment offer a velvet palate and a nose of tertiary and complex hints.
