Detailed description
Making and Ageing
Vines grown on sandy loam calcareous soils for the Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdit varieties and sandy for the Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera varieties.
The vineyard is found at a height of around 600 metres above sea level and its length is about 40 hectares.
The type of plantation is a vertical trellis (royat and lira double cord), carrying out a system of cultivation by means of an integrated production and using organic compost. Handmade harvest in 15 Kg crates with a selection table after stalking.
Vinification stage is carried out by means of total stalking and traditional maceration (12 days roughly). Malolactic fermentation with work of lees.
Ageing takes places during 6 months inside three / four years old French oak barrels.
Tasting
Visually cherry pillory practically opaque.
Olfactory stage with ripe fruit aromas (blackberry bush, cherry, plum), slight notes of its ageing in wood, wood charcoal and coffee milk.
In mouth mean body, balanced, tasteful, fruity, fine and easy to drink.
