Detailed description
The perfect tune between two typical Spanish varieties : Monastrell and Tempranillo (equal proportions). It is the perfect combination between old Monastrell vineyards, with very expressive and ripe grapes, and Tempranillo, whose young vineyards are able to transmit freshness and an aromatic potential, being its ideal complement.
Making
After a handmade careful selection of the bunches and a strict stalking and soft crushing, every variety was made separately. Grapes and must fermented in stainless teel tanks under a controlled temperature of 24 ºC. The removal of maximum quality tannins was favoured by continuous pumping-over with and without air according to a strict sensory and physicochemical analysis. After a maceration of 20 days for the Monastrell and 18 days for the Tempranillo, the wine was pressed and introduced for 12 months in second year medium roasted Hungarian and American oak barrels working with continuous battonage.

In mouth is expressive, its balance highlights thanks to a marked acidity together with powerful tannins, tasty and frank. Remarkable fruity persistance. |
